Im speaking of my own experience and some of my friends, i think that in Israel is easier to go OTD, as Rabbi Rottenberg told me before i went to yeshiva there that the greater the kedusha the greater the temuah and koach hatumah is always 1 step ahead.

Nah, it's not about the virus spread, it's about how NY Jews feel they were treated during the pandemic so far, both on a statewide regulatory level and on a community level (singled out). It's not a brand new movement. There's been chatter for the better part of a decade about building a large kehillah, mainly because of financial and political benefits. It just seems to have resurfaced now.

Low property tax (at least when compared to NY)
No income Tax
School choice
Warmer winter weather
Yet not too far from NY.

I actually believe this is a valid point.
Without getting too much into politics and derail the subject..
I think we dont belong anymore in democratic states like NY, yet a RED state can be bad too. So FL as a swing state may be just perfect
