I've had the incredible privilege of visiting Iceland ten times to date, and my love affair is showing no signs of stopping. I've been there in all seasons and have seen a tremendous amount of the country. I've gone as much as three years between visits, and as little as three days. This past summer alone I was there four times.
I've experienced hurricane-force winds and record-breaking heat waves; 5-hour days and 24-hour sunlight. I've climbed glaciers, roasted marshmallows over erupting volcanos, camped under the northern lights, hiked into ice caves, and so much more.
All trips with groups I organized and led, from 1 person to 25; from gnarly no-showers-for-4-days to ultra-luxury itineraries. We've had daf yomi shuirim in places where there had likely never been one ever before, a siyum mesechta (of course!) and a kumzitz on an active volcano, and without question the loudest כאלה ever this far north.
The very first trip has already been written up here a while ago, and I had begun the second. I'll finish that up here first, and then move on to the others. As more trips happen iy"h I'll continue updating this thread; keep an eye on the wiki for the latest trip reports.
