I didn't yet try this one but the same thing happened when they did this offer for mother's day.

Some people bought the gift cards and chatted with a rep to get them to manually add $25 to their gift card balance, depending on the reps mood whether they did it or not.

On one account they did it for me and the other one they wouldn't do it.
