The problem is with trump not with the law. He’s making arbitrary and capricious decisions which make it easier for the court to overturn them.

I didn’t offer an opinion on the issue, I’m commenting on the liberal nature of the ruling. The ruling and opinion went against standard conservative principles of law.

Without reading anything in depth, I think the orientation ruling is absurd, but it is very reassuring to see the American separation of powers system of checks and balances stopping Trump from utterly destroying the country. His petty fight with annulling DACA instead of just repealing it with another EO is infantile beyond belief.

Judges are supposed to interpret laws, not legislate.

Again you are focusing on outcomes, not the law.

Also, if you don't know that freedom of association is a longtime conservative principle, you really do need to get out more.

Actually (ignoring that that’s obviously not what I was referring to) conservatives do generally believe it’s not really the government’s business to intrude on anyone’s personal beliefs, bigoted or not. You believe the government gets to tell people what to believe, how to behave, and how to conduct their own business?
