They're not spammers, they don't yet offer service in our neighborhood, they will follow up by email, they need your address to know if you're in the coverage area, and email address to notify you, no one forced you into this, I'm not sure what you're kvetching about

Do they have any plans/capabilities for a portable unit? $99/month for use in remote places (seamen, adventurers, etc.) would be amazing. Granted you’d have to be a low-power device/transceiver and there would have to be sufficient coverage for it to be viable.
