With all districts reporting, Deutsch got into third place. Mail-in-ballots are still not included, but it would be shocking if he still had any chance...

I hate to say this, but if this anywhere close to the actual result,  we (i.e. the Jewish community) deserve all the we get from "our" elected officials.

There are more than 331,000 enrolled Democrats in the district. That includes those who voted in person, just 15,000. I hope something shakes loose as the mail-ins are counted.

It is ridiculous how few votes one needs in these districts to make it to Congress.

This year, many people voted with mail-ins. Your assessment is true, but we'll only know to what extent after the final count is in.

Can you spell AOC?
Are you referring to the future of the Democrat party?
15,897 is the magic number.

As the ballots continue to be counted, it seems more and more certain that Eliot Engel (endorsed by Hillary, Cuomo, and Schumer) has become the latest casualty to the far-left progressive movement. As such, and as the Democrat is almost certain to win in the general election, there is a new name you may be hearing about a lot in the future.

Jamaal Bowman, pictured (on left) in the CNN tweet above, is being heralded as the next AOC. I doubt he is as dumb as that bumbling fool, but still, don't be surprised if the 'gang of 4' turns into the 'gang of 5'.

Here is a clip from his speech last night. Get to know him. You will probably be hearing a lot from him in the future.

Very true.
Another congressman Trump will run against in the 2020 election. For which he will be labeled a racist (but don't we all get called a racist for playing chess?)

In New Jersey, it seems that all the progressive democrats lost their primary races against the more moderate Democrat incumbents.

Is that a good thing?
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Isn't the D's moving to the middle a bad thing for Trump?

If D's are going to control NJ, better the moderates than the super-prog. I believe that's the thinking.

On a national level or a local one? National, it's arguable that it doesn't help Trump, but not by a lot. Locally, Trump is irrelevant.
