Isn't the D's moving to the middle a bad thing for Trump?
I care about the country, not about Trump. Currently, I see Trump as the only way forward for the country, given that the alternative is far-left.

I would trade today's political climate any day for one which has a winnable, albeit moderate, Democrat.

So Biden is far left?  ::)
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Biden is senile, being controlled to some extent by the far-left.

But I'm still happy that he is the nominee over Bernie Sanders, even though most people estimated the Trump would have a better chance of winning over Bernie.

I'm happier having lower odds on a normal deck than higher odds with on a crazy deck.

So it is not dementia? I can't keep the stories straight.
Did this control by the far left just start when the polls show Trump is in trouble?

Where's the normal deck?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

You are nitpicking. My point was clear, why you getting caught up on the choice of words?

Simply, I would rather a more-winnable moderate Democrat candidate than a less-winnable progressive nutjob. Where Biden falls in not the focus of my conversation.

Since Biden is the candidate you have your more-winnable moderate D is my point.

Moderate is only if you believe he's going to be the one calling the shots. I think we've seen enough over the last few months to have reasonable doubts about that.

You don't think he has made a hard left over the past few months?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

No Kool-Aid here. I'm with @YitzyS in that I'd rather a moderate Dem to Trump. I truly don't believe Biden's with it right now. That has nothing to do with spin, just listening to him talk. Personally, my best case scenario for Nov is one where Trump is convinced there's no way for him to win, so he fakes a health issue that causes him to back out and allows a moderate R to take his place before the convention. I think the only way I get to see that, though, is if I do a lot of acid.

The only reason we call Biden a "moderate" is because of how far the Leftist have shifted the Overton Window.

I think a good analogy for Biden would be a mirror. It has no inherent self; it just reflects the image of those around it.
