Somebody sent me the following link (
https://www.imamother.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=395087) where someone purporting to be a day camp director in NYC claims that Deblasio isn't allowing swimming in NYC day camps, even though Cuomo allowed it, and that the city DOH is withholding camp permit over this issue.
I haven't seen this reported anywhere else and can't find a corroborating source, but it would devastate many kids if true, especially after everything else we've been through with Deblasio in general and the whole summer camp parsha in particular. Has anybody else heard this rumor, or does anyone have any inside knowledge and/or official sources regarding whether NYC summer camps will legally be allowed to offer swimming?
