Best Wireless Phone-Charger / Stand
« on: June 23, 2020, 11:57:48 PM »
I've got a Note 10+ which officially supports 15W wireless charging, I'm looking for the ideal stand with adjustable angles, and also supports 15W wireless charging, I can't seem to find anything existing on the market!
It seems that the only wireless chargers that are 15W and support the Note 10+ are made by Samsung, so even something 10W with an adjustable stand would be amazing.

At this point I'm thinking of crafting my own, all ideas are welcome!

I'm new to wireless charging. I purchased the Apple Airpods last week with wireless charging, and I'm looking for a recommendation for a good wireless charger for it, preferably one that is relatively small. Any suggestions?
Is there a clever way to solicit likes without sounding like a classless wannabee?

Is anyone aware of a wireless charger that works through the metal plate that is attached to my phone for the magnet?

I think the options are either or.

Haven't had luck finding anything that can charge through metal (had a metal credit card in phone case, had to have cc company send me a plastic card instead).

ETA: Google brought up this brand, that may be able to do what you want. Look for reviews / deals online.

I got recommendations on these forums for Omaker brand chargers, and I've had great experiences with them.

They seem to have stopped making them, though, as I only found one listing on Amazon. This seems like the one I have, but I have it in Black.

Omaker Intelligent 6.6A / 33W Premium Aluminum 3 USB Car Charger with Smart Sharing IC for Each USB Port- Hot Pink ($19.99)

Found this on Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2X-Omaker-6-6A-Premium-Aluminum-3-USB-Car-High-Speed-Charger-With-Smart-IC/193631642655

FWIW - I have 3 of these, and they work great - albeit not so rapidly - with all of our phones - iPhone X, Galaxy s10+ and Pixel 4.

I also did this - https://medium.com/@yonahwolf/a-magic-wireless-charging-table-for-less-than-30-bce7c9a01e06

I originally used Ikea chargers (which are 5w) - so it's a lot slower. The idea here is that the Wireless charger is hidden under the surface of the table.

Can someone please give me a sales pitch for the round wireless charger pads. I canít for the life of me understand the benefit of a charger where you canít hold it while it charges but has to lay on the pad ?? Iím not even being cynical I really canít think of a benefit. Yes. Itís cool that it charges wirelessly , but otherwise what use is there?
nothings impossible- the word itself says Im possible
