Any data points from anyone at all regarding enforcement? A) at the airport, if someone comes to NY for fewer than 14 days, will it be a problem when they are leaving?B) are there any check points?C) I heard third hand something about someone's cell phone location being tracked, anyone hear of such a thing?
A)noB)noC)noHope that answers your questions. This is america not israel... they can't enforce quarantine even if they wanted to unless you advertised that your out. Even then they can barely do anything. Its honestly surprising how people truly think that a quarantine can truly be enforced in any way shape or form.
it's good to be a Lubavitcher
Quarantine absolutely has been enforced in some ways in parts of the country. Did you answer any of the questions based on actual knowledge? Have you been through the airport and seen if they track people *outbound?* Do you know for a fact that none of the checkpoints they spoke about putting in place have been set up? Do you know for a fact that people who gave their cell phone numbers were not tracked?
NJ UPDATED LISTAL, AR, CA, FL, GA, GU, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MN, MS, MO, NE, NV, NC, ND, OK, PR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VI, WIMD and DE and AZ are off Alaska as well
If you came from there within the last 14 days, do you have to finish, or can just just leave?
If its a matter of life and death and putting people at risk, what difference does it make? Everyone should be quarantining regardless.
Is it?
After 2 days of school, my high school daughter is quarantined, as a classmate tested positive. We don't normally pick up the phone when it rings, but the DoH may call to check up on her. Does anyone know from experience what shows up on caller ID?
How did they get your number?
The school said they were required to provide contact info.
