This incident was clearly harassment. No one argues that. It was NOT bigotry, which you keep on comparing it to. No one calls out harassment on these forums. It's a part of life, especially in today's political climate. It happens on both sides.

For the record, I think what they did was stupid and juvenile. I also think that every protest or rally needing to have a counter- protest/rally is stupid and juvenile. You're calling out the wrong person. I'm clearly on record not expecting people to speak out when anti-Semitism happens. I also call out racism, bigotry, and stereotyping on here more than 95% of other members. Stop with the blinders BS. People are allowed to think differently than you do.

You can think differently all you want. That is healthy. I look at a wrong as being wrong. What happened with that bus could have turned out a lot worse. I don't care if the wrong is based on racism, anti-Semitism or anything else.

As for the Philly rally, that wasn't Antifa. That was BLM. You making as if the 2 are 1 is telling.

It was Black Hebrew Israelites. Is it telling you making BLM the same as Black Hebrew Israelites? Can't wait for the spin.

It was a BLM protest. The guy on the clip used language common with Black Hebrew Israelites (synagogue of Satan). No spin required. Just the facts, Jack.

Why would I have a problem with you calling out hypocrisy? Do it correctly, and you'll have a lot more people agreeing with you. Use it for BS like this where it doesn't apply and you'll start to feel like people are picking on you.

You've done it correctly, and you've gotten support. You didn't get universal support, but that's to be expected, seeing as people have different opinions and some people are just racist. Over-using it is not the solution.

This is a reasonable statement. I don't think you'll find many people here who disagree with it.

Also true, and not unrelated, is that people sometimes see anti-Semitism and racism where there is none. Not every bad thing that happens to a Jew or Jews is because of anti-Semitism, and not every bad thing that happens to a Black person or Black people is because of racism. Over-using those terms diminishes the severity and harms the conversation when trying to legitimately call it out and educate people about the issues.

The example that started all this was to try and get some to understand that. It wasn't to equate Trump supporters with Nazis or equate the suffering of the Jews at the hands of Nazis to harassing the bus. So when some try and paint it that way what do you expect.

Harassment isn't hate. Sometimes it is fueled by hate, but I don't believe that to be the case here. They were trolling and harassing people who have different political beliefs. It happens all day, every day, and in every corner of the spectrum. The comparison you made was so off base and offensive, that your whole point was completely marginalized.
