Look how bad for Israel...
I don't think that Biden administration will necessarily be bad for Israel, but I fail to see anywhere in that new story any positive news for Israel

Maybe yes, maybe no, but stopping payments to terrorists is good for Israel

Where in the article do you see that they are going to stop payments to terrorists?

Quote
Israeli and Palestinian experts also said that Democrats seeking to facilitate a return to a peace process under Mr. Biden have urged the Palestinians to take specific steps to show that they will not be obstructionist if the new administration engages on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Those include resuming security cooperation and taking the tax transfers, as well as one move that could encounter considerable opposition among the Palestinian public: reforming the way that Palestinians who serve time in Israeli prisons, including for violent attacks, are financially compensated, an arrangement that critics call “pay to slay.”

Sounds good to Israel to me.

sounds to me like restructure the way they are paid so it's not directly "pay to slay." But keep on paying for it.

Now they can say they stopped without actually stopping. This is what's bad for Israel.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Considering stopping payments to terrorists and their families, which they've never stopped since 1948

Do you think electing Trump accomplished that?

No, but at least we are not financing it.

Ever heard of "keep your friends close but your enemies closer"? Israel begged the USA not to cut off funding. Now they routinely send the Mossad chief to Qatar to beg them for $$$ instead

Seems like the top contender for WH press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre is very anti Israel.

The article doesn't say that they are considering stopping, it says that Democrats asked them to stop (or more precisely, "reform(ing) the way ... are financially compensated")

Liberal hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me. When Trump gave compliments (and no money) to Kim Jung Un, they were up in arms "how can you cozy up to such an evil regime" but when he stops a policy that literally finances terror...

That's because the US has zero influence on NK, but plenty on the PA. For example, we train their security service.

Maybe one of them on the verge of getting a nuke had something to do with it?
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half
