It canít make a president, but it can make a president a baby.

Try to be intellectually honest here. How would you have felt if Hillary would have pulled this move? And donít compare it to collusion claims etc. which were obviously wrong and institutional issues, Iím talking about not conceding personally when the race has clearly been called.

Again, a call does not a president make.

For the purposes of our language, it does. Historically, when the various media organizations make the call, we then call the person president-elect. Mistakes have been made in the past, and calls have been changed. But for the purposes of the language that has always been used, Joe Biden is our president-elect.

Even Gore initially conceded the election (before calling to retract)

Is it the media calling it, or the opponent conceeding?

In the primaries (before the convention) they use the term "presumptive nominee".

While I agree Trump is behaving like a poorly behaved child, the Twitter overreach is far more concerning to me. Something must be done. Itís incredible that theyíre getting away with this.

What about a president not conceding an election he lost or wantonly firing leaders of some of the most sensitive positions in the government due to a tantrum is not overly concerning?

Facebook has been begging the government to regulate its content for years.

I didnít say itís not concerning, I said itís less concerning. Trump was elected President in 2016 and received 72 million votes this year. Like it or not, he serves and ceases to serve at the will of the people.

Twitter elected themselves.

If it's a problem, Twitter isn't the one in charge to take care of it.

Twitter has to remove harmful materials. Trump's tweet may or may not be harmful, but who would you like to make that determination? The options are government and Twitter...

Or do you want Twitter to just leave everything up including pornography, violence, suicidal influence, terrorism, and whatnot?

Facebook has been begging the gov't to take over this regulation.

Is there any better option? Having them self regulate doesnít seem to be working. I donít like government regulation, but something has to be done

I'm fine with Twitter doing the regulation, as long as it's posted clearly, and kept to what their guidelines are, and can be held accountable and punished for not adhering to their own rules.
