So if DJT tweets that he won the election, there is a disclaimer but when Joe tweets that he won, all is fine.

Sort of like when the score at the end of the game is 10-5. There is one winner.  ;)
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

If a race was not called yet , neither Trump or Joe can declare victory.

If "Official sources may have not called the race (yet)" applies to one team, it applies to both.

I thought you would agree with that.

I do.  :)
Game is called it is just one side thinks their protest will prevail. If it does then we have a new winner.
Look at Georgia senate race. We have a winner without it being certified.

Do we have a double standard, yes. The problem is this isn't one of them.

...except the game isn't called. Not a single state has certified. The only thing that has happened is that the media have "called it."  Too bad the "media calling the election" is not the standard by which we judge who will be the president of the united states.

I know the Trumpsters want to spin this. Elections are called all the time before they are certified. This one has been called and all the crying in the world will not change that. Maybe in the end the call will be turned out to be wrong but that doesn't change the fact the Fat Lady has sung!

Trump won FL and that has not been certified. Shall we continue to play this silly game?  :)

It can’t make a president, but it can make a president a baby.

Try to be intellectually honest here. How would you have felt if Hillary would have pulled this move? And don’t compare it to collusion claims etc. which were obviously wrong and institutional issues, I’m talking about not conceding personally when the race has clearly been called.

For the purposes of our language, it does. Historically, when the various media organizations make the call, we then call the person president-elect. Mistakes have been made in the past, and calls have been changed. But for the purposes of the language that has always been used, Joe Biden is our president-elect.

Even Gore initially conceded the election (before calling to retract)

Is it the media calling it, or the opponent conceeding?

In the primaries (before the convention) they use the term "presumptive nominee".

While I agree Trump is behaving like a poorly behaved child, the Twitter overreach is far more concerning to me. Something must be done. It’s incredible that they’re getting away with this.

What about a president not conceding an election he lost or wantonly firing leaders of some of the most sensitive positions in the government due to a tantrum is not overly concerning?

Facebook has been begging the government to regulate its content for years.

I didn’t say it’s not concerning, I said it’s less concerning. Trump was elected President in 2016 and received 72 million votes this year. Like it or not, he serves and ceases to serve at the will of the people.

Twitter elected themselves.

If it's a problem, Twitter isn't the one in charge to take care of it.
