As an aside - look at how they value their own MR points - less than $.01 per point. If you borrow points, however, and don't earn them back in time, they charge you $.025 per point...

I called up Amex Platinum customer service and they said that they are working on the website and I won't be able to register for another 24-48 hours. I will try again in the morning because I don't believe it will take that long but that was their story.

We can still get multiple entries by making purchases as multiple stores, no? Or, by sending in a postcard (or maybe even a few) to each store, no?

See here under "Free Participation"; In the middle it says "Limit one (1) request per outer-postmarked envelope."

I wonder if that is la'afukei two people entering with one envelope, or one person with two entries (albeit one registration) entering with one elvelope...

As I posted above, from the email confirmation it seems you can have multiple (up to 10) entries for one registration/card.

First time I didn't read your parentheses, I just read the "10 gifts from one entry", to which I was asking if there could be 10 entries to a registration (1 registrar = 10 entries = 100 gifts). Now I see what you actually meant.
Are you just assuming this, because why would they award 10 gifts if all you did was enter once... or does it actually say somewhere that you can have multiple entries (not gifts)? Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand your question, but I'll try answering it anyway... The first paragraph of the confirmation email reads:

Congratulations! You've registered your Card. Now that you are a part
of The Gift Chain, you can receive a surprise gift when you spend $25 or
more at participating online stores with your registered American
Express ® Card (up to 10 gifts, while supplies last). That's it. It's
that easy.

Which tells me that for each $25 purchase (or each postcard) you get one gift, up to ten gifts per registration. Does that answer your question?

Nice. Haven't been able to register yet, so haven't seen that email. That is pretty strongly mashma like you are saying.

(My question was that instead of 10 entries = 10 gifts like you said, maybe 1 entry = 10 gifts and only 1 entry is allowed- that's all.)
