How did thy calculate the amounts? If you redeemed all the shared gifts yourself did they count that? It went by the card or person redeeming them?

It either went by the name on the AU card or by the name it was sent to, I'm not sure.
I made way too many orders to figure this all out.

I had figured this would be a purchase rebate.  Do you see where in the rules it said that they were sending out 1099s?

The 1099s have no SSN on them.  I wonder how that works?

The ones I got were all for more than 600.

Umm, why does he still have to file taxes if he didn't make anything? If you're self employed and making under $400 or employed and making under $19,000 or so (MFJ) you don't need to file.

I didn't get any 1099's possibly because I didn't get over $600.

I'm assuming you didn't claim all the shoprunners, Is that an angle you can use?

I saw a couple of 1099s in mail today.

1) All over $600 (one $601, jerks....)
2) Cards are not combined, they specifically say in bottom left corner for which account it is.
3) Mine does have last 4 of SSN, you may want to double check that Dan. (Unless you mean AUs that never got associated with SSN?)
4) SR is valued at $79, and "Next shop at ______ receive $X" SCs are valued at face.
5) Shared FB gifts are only valued at face of one of the gifts, not all 4.

I wouldn't call getting many thousands of dollars of gifts getting slaughtered, but it is disappointing, especially the ones that got bumped over $600 due to SR.

Mine were all on AUs with no SSN so far.
I do see the cards listed, will the numbers aren't adding up.  I'm assuming you know SR was included by calculating the breakdown yourself?
