Kanye Wests last ditch effort to get himself on his home-state's ballot cost him over $30,000, according to TMZ.
The rapper and presidential hopeful's campaign team hired a third party vendor to get him the 2,500 signatures needed to get on the Illinois state ballot.The company immediately sent out about 45 people to hit the streets to collect the needed signatures.
The rapper reportedly paid the company $10-12 for each of the 3,178 signatures collected, totally well over $30,000.
The typical rate paid to third party vendors is typically in the $1-3 range.
