Are you aware of any follow-up testing being done to track potential lingering or longer-term issues?

I spoke to a DR at Mount Sinai last week, he said while they are seeing all kinds of weird things post covid majority of people do not have any issues whatsoever. Even the Spain article said that 38 people had problems 3 months later. With the  amount of people that go through hospitals now in florida it would be very hard to do follow up and unnecessary.

On the other hand, testing sites botched up numbers.

The mentality seems to be that if we get it, we get it.

We take precautions etc but realistically people aren't going back to April and May.

I have cancelled so far 6 rt trips and my annual western road trips.

It's really not the governor or anything. It's just people . You see people hanging out by the beach , partying etc

I see black folks at the beach, white folks, Latina etc . It's not a demographic, age or politics thing.

Nah, there’s no formal follow up plan. It’s case by case if ppl present with symptoms later on they get worked up further/treated.

Makes sense that places that got hit earlier have developed something by now. Nothing in South Florida that I’m aware of yet 🤷‍♂️

Anecdotally, I've seen mask usage increase a lot over the last month. Hopefully that continues. Schools opening over the next few weeks will be something to watch.

The reality is that there are more precautions being taken by individual businesses and residents.
