in his yeshiva shabbos was mandatory 3xmonth, not willing to eat from his traifina kitchen was a valid excuse........... till he made a simcha and kashered the kitchen

The whole story is very odd. Seems that politics between him and the Eruv are mostly at play. I don't know of anyone who is stopping to eat from his hechsher because of this.
