People need to realize that 140k dead means we did something wrong for the last 4 months, not that we should keep doing it and say how important it is.

What we did wrong is not SD and wearing masks. Then that is compounded by not following the guidelines for opening up. Now those states that opened up to soon are paying a deep price with lives lost.

Name one. Name one doctor who disputes that masks are effective at preventing transmission from an infected COVID patient.

There are many reasons why a specific doctor wouldn’t be wearing a mask under specific circumstances- he may have antibodies and feel they’re effective, he may be in a place that is known not to be currently infected, etc. Did she ask?
Most countries in Europe and Asia managed to completely crush the curve and have prevented any resurgences. That is *without* losing many lives, some with barely any. Do you not know this? Do you need specific examples? I can easily name 10.

Florida has seen over 244,500 NEW confirmed cases in the last 30 days. The biggest driver of that has been the very large anti-mask demographic. As a result, FL is looking at a minimum of 3000 deaths in the 30 days, and very possibly over 10,000. But don't worry, this whole thing is a hoax, and doctors lie. We need to be wearing tinfoil hats, not masks.

New York had 10k in under 10 days. Look at percent positive, don't twist numbers in your favor. As long as there is room in the hospital get it over with, no one beat it, and there is no path to beating it yet.

States that locked up with no cases, and opened up with no cases wasted everyone lives. You need cases, lock down to slow the spread to keep the hospitals with room, and reopen at a rate which you can keep the infection rate under 1, that's all.

So understand that if someone gets fearful from a mask, it doesn't mean it's a panic attack, or they won't be able to sleep, it just gives a sour message.

You haven’t come across any. If there were any they should be fairly easy to find. There have been links to and names of dozens of doctors agreeing that they work posted here and many peer-reviewed studies showing that they work posted as as well.

Please don’t misrepresent your personal views as backed by any science or medicine. If there was even a shred of evidence against it the alt-right sites would be all over them. There’s a reason even Trump started wearing a mask and Republican governors have begun to mandate them.

Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Hungary, Austria, Portugal, Germany, Greece, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand. Enough?

All have suffered less than 1/10th of the death toll per capita of NY/NJ, with many suffering less than 1/50th. All have suffered less than 1/4 of the death toll per capita of the entire US already (and unfortunately the US is heading in the wrong direction). All have slowed the spread to barely a trickle and mostly reopened their countries, albeit with some restrictions (like masks!).

Influenza doesn't have asymptomatic and presymptomatic spread.
