You’re twisting it to be dan lekaf zechus which is generous but was not the original insinuation at all and you’re doing it at the expense of being dan lekaf zechus @aygart instead (who is probably correct).

I have no idea what you're trying to say here. Why would you want to compare NY being blindsided to FL putting blinders on themselves? As for percent positive, which numbers are you looking at? The ones posted by DoH, or the ones Tweeted by DeSantis' press secretary? And why does that matter, regardless of which numbers you use? Hospitals are getting pretty full, and they managed to lose enough patients even when they had room. That's not a knock on the medical professionals, just a reality of this virus. I'm sure you haven't noticed, but FL has averaged 100 deaths per day for the last 7 days, and the numbers climb daily in all metrics.

You’re lying because you’re alleging that I twisted the meaning of a post when the post came in middle of a conversation and I understood it accordingly. There was no reason to attribute it to referring to the law, or ice cream, or ducks, or smoked herring, as that was *not* what the conversation was about. Do you see how you accused me of something (twisting his words) that you are guilty of yourself? Sure, he now claims it was the government he was talking about, but that’s not what he said.

Involved in what? We discussed this subject today on multiple threads and I and others thought it was clear what he meant. Why don’t we ask him to chime in? I’d love to hear what @Jeremiah honestly says he meant. Because you’re probably wrong. I was responding with an alternative explanation for why he would be wearing a mask.. as in, *not* what he originally insinuated (that it was “for attention”)

Talk about middos. Reread the thread. It started off with him saying he doesn't know why the guy wears  mask.

Lets bring the whole quote and it changes nothing. He didn't just write that he doesn't know why which could include that there is a very sound reason for it but rather wrote it like the guy is an idiot and a loser for doing it.

For 4 weeks I have been learning in a packed beis medrash. Not one person wears a mask. One person was wearing one and I assumed eventually he would take it off. He still comes wearing a mask! The only reason I can think of is that he wears it because it's government mandated. Does that make sense to anyone using their brain?
On a side note where does that play a role in חובת השתדלות?

Be honest, this is not simply wondering why he wears it. It is disparaging him for doing so. Once we correct this the rest of your post is irrelevant, but to consider this one a benign post is just as dishonest.

You haven’t come across any. If there were any they should be fairly easy to find. There have been links to and names of dozens of doctors agreeing that they work posted here and many peer-reviewed studies showing that they work posted as as well.

Please don’t misrepresent your personal views as backed by any science or medicine. If there was even a shred of evidence against it the alt-right sites would be all over them. There’s a reason even Trump started wearing a mask and Republican governors have begun to mandate them.

All have suffered less than 1/10th of the death toll per capita of NY/NJ, with many suffering less than 1/50th. All have suffered less than 1/4 of the death toll per capita of the entire US already (and unfortunately the US is heading in the wrong direction). All have slowed the spread to barely a trickle and mostly reopened their countries, albeit with some restrictions (like masks!).
