I tried everything, from Google, putting a new toner in.
  No luck.

Something seems to be causing part of the cartridge to print without ink.

Here's what it looks like on the edges.

Was hoping that's not the issue!
Tried cleaning with an alcohol pad as I see many people did that for the lines printing on the paper.

The lines is dirt on the 'screen'. Easy to fix. Faded, or too much toner is usually a drum issue. If you get lucky a generic works, if not you can sometimes get a new printer for cheaper than the drum

A friend of mine prints 40k pages in 6 months. Instead of leasing or buying a nice printer he buys dirt cheap very basic brother printers with copy/ scanner- gets them refurbished for ~$75 or 2 for $100 they come with toner /drum. Which lasts a while.

When that's finished he buys generic stuff. Even though it breaks the printer he calculates that he is still saving more.

Why not go with a generic drum? I'm using them for years with no issue.

I have good experience with LINKYO, something like this (make sure the correct model for your printer), but there are a lot of them.

I've usually had the printer last me for quite some time and been using the generic tonor's.

I guess I'll try one of these drums and see what happens.

 Thanks.

Perhaps several cheap quality Chinese toners?

(Assuming the new toner was the same non - brand)

Or just give the toner a good shake.

I tried that when it was spreading the ink unevenly on the page.

New drum with old tonor was no good.

So used new drum and new tonor.
 Working good as of now.

Not sure of it was just the tonor which was garbage or was it the drum?

I did get 4 of those tonor's for free from the company so it can very possibly be the source of the issue.

This is the 2nd time this tonor acted up, meaning used two new ones. So was thinking it's the drum.

 Time will tell, thanks guys!

Thanks.. let's see what this new one brings me.
