Are you expecting an answer? Do you think there is a single answer

What we all know and agree on
No one had an intent to get to this outcome
It was not safe for years
Kuperstuck is not with us (I have no clue what he did in the past)
It was on a Friday which means more people preferred going Thursday night
It was the first semi holiday since covid hit that we are not in a lockdown

Then you can have a list of speculations
Police blocked the other exists
Police blocked THIS exit
In the past they put non slip stickers on the floor, this year they didn't
In the past they closed THIS exit
The secondary screen was off and caused more people joining the main yard
Toldos Aaron opted to be the only one celebrating at that time
Or as chayut says the train that brought them is also at fault

For some things in life there are no short answers. Unsafe setting, lack of planning, and things happened.

DIY experiment..

Take an empty spring water gallon jug, fill it up with flour, and turn it swiftly upside down above the trash can.. You'll get a pretty clear picture :)

AKA bottleneck effect. Tragically that's what happened over there. You don't need to blame it on a barricade to understand that outcome.

It is very clear that the real story is that the guy on the grassy knoll started the whole thing.

The short answer is that the myriad of approaches to rationalizing tragedy are emotionally charged.

Maybe we finally get rid of that rug we've been sweeping things under.... forget it, looks like we're gonna need a bigger rug.
