What an epic fail.  How are they not throwing the traffic to YT?

It's the first year the kinus is live on YouTube IINM (perhaps even a first for chabad.org event).

Chabad.org uses Livestream as a backend system to manage there live events. That allows them to use their player and site to manage the video.

I've never been, I doubt it though. Just the whole anti vs mishichist thing is done for the most part. Ohel for shabbos is still something plenty don't feel comfortable doing, but I don't think it splits down "mishichist" lines anymore.

You can say that and it's certainly not a flash point as it once was, but there are still shuls and yeshivas around the world that either encourage or discourage saying yechi.

And if meshichists wouldn't b'shita spend a Shabbos there, how is that not a party line split? I didn't imply that if you don't go that you're a meshichist, only vice versa.

If a "meshichist" is someone who says yechi, plenty spend shabbos at the ohel. ETA: iow, just like anti vs meshichist isn't the flashpoint it was, spending shabbos at the ohel is very much an across the spectrum phenomenon now.

Just got an insider piece of info regarding last night.

I was visited by a friend who I noticed standing next to one of the Sifrei Torah. I asked him whether he got one, his response was that he didn't. He actually got to write the last letter.

In order to cut costs (not having to pay for 36 additional participants), they asked around who of the Shluchim happens to be a qualified sofer. My friend responded that he learned safrus and wrote a few Megillos, but isn't active. He was told that the only requirement was knowing how to handle a Kulmus, so he was assigned. In order to save time on drying, there was only a very small portion of the last Lamed left to be filled in.
