It's a good question.  I remember you asked it a few months ago, and at that time I tried to find an answer, but couldn't.  I'm not an immunologist, just remember some immunology from my introductory biology class and tried to read some more.  I looked again last night, and found a couple of more advanced immunology books online, and I think I can give you an answer.

But my laptop crashed and I'm allotted too few minutes on this family computer, so I may not be able to post it till late tonight or tomorrow.  If you can't wait that long, the short answer is No, it's not a good idea to get re-exposed, and Yes you should wear a mask.  So thinking about it was a good idea, but actually doing it... not so much.

I wonder if COVID is actually primarily transmitted through flatulence? Flatulence releases methane into the air. Masks would then actually have no impact on the spread (although they would definitely limit the impact of the flatulence on others).

Just another question that hasn’t been definitely settled by science just yet. Amazing how much we still don’t know.

N.J. Town Sees 27% Jump
New Jersey reported a 27% positive rate of coronavirus tests in Lakewood, home to a large, tight-knit Orthodox Jewish community. The outbreak is contributing to New Jersey’s recent uptick. The statewide positivity rate is 3%, the highest in months.

Ocean County, home to Lakewood as well as many Jersey Shore towns, has a 5.4% positive rate.

Separately, the state has confirmed novel coronavirus outbreaks in 11 schools, Governor Phil Murphy said. In all, 43 individuals with links to the schools have tested positive, according to Judith Persichilli, the state health commissioner.

A friend of mine has his father hospitalized for COVID in PA upon the recommendation of Shuki Berman. Somehow my friend is in touch with the CEO on a daily basis (I've seen emails). He relays that they are/will be rejecting patients from Lakewood because we refuse to comply with the law.

To paraphrase @shaulyaakov, if only a fraction of the effort to combat anti semitism was used for actually not getting ourselves into a situation that brings it to the forefront. As @Lurker has been saying, as a community we are great at reacting, being proactive though not so much.
