Is that true for everyone who’s infected? If people are testing negative on a properly administered/processed 50-cycle PCR then in what way do they have COVID?
There is a theory that the virus sometimes lives on in the brain or etc without being present in the respiratory system, so no nose swab test will pick it up because it simply isn't present in the nose anymore.
I'm guessing that's why there's talk of anal swabs, sometimes it is in the body but not not in the nose.
I would actually say COVID passes pretty quickly for most patients
Probably true, although we don't really know that. The bigger question is how big is the minority and how bad is the lingering damage there.
