If they are not vaccinated then official guidelines have not changed. If they are under 12 they could not have been vaccinated. Do you have a source for it being illegal to ask?

Don’t know why people keep spreading the myth that it’s illegal to ask about vaccination status. But besides that - kids that are under 12 can’t be vaccinated, and 12-15 could not have possibly finished the vaccination regimen yet. The earliest would be 5 weeks after May 10th.

Vaccines aside, it’s ridiculous to force children to wear masks for something that doesn’t really affect them.
