Lol I don't think it's a single person.

Chemed has a Google form with a bunch of questions, and it has been disseminated to all (most?) medical practices/clinics in town. Each clinic is responsible for inputting their cases, including all relevant information e.g. "Do they have antibodies?" etc. In practice, not all medical practices/clinics are consistent about entering the cases, and even when they do they can get lazy about entering all the information. It likely depends on the day and the workload of whomever was tasked with the entering of the data.

From hefkervelt, it looks like over the past weeks there have been just a few cases per day in Lakewood, maybe 0-10 per day. Presumably, someone at Chemed thinks it's worthwhile to collect and disseminate this information. Doesn't seem like such a big job to call the next morning, and ask for the few missing data points.

hefkervelt's data is just the OCHD's data.

The chemed tracker isn't designed for public dissemination. It's intended for the Lakewood medical community to communicate with each other.

OCHD is always higher by an order of magnitude (at least); but the chemed tracker is a better representation of what's practically going on within the frum community.

Then the numbers are even less than 5-10/day? All the more reason for investing the few minutes it takes to verify the accuracy and completeness of the data that clinics are entering. Some people want greater clarity before getting the vaccine - either knowing more about its effectiveness, or about the immunity conferred by prior infection - and it sounds like Chemed could provide that by simply announcing, say, once a week: We had X infections this week. Y% were people with prior covid infection, Z% were in people who've been vaccinated.

So says the anti-vaxers. And the pro-vaxers have already gotten it. But there's a middle group, the wait-and-see group, who can be swayed with more accurate data.

Its easier to make an oil change then get a covid vaccine, chai care gives vaccines 9 am to 1 pm, you can get an oil change Monday - Thursday on 2nd till 12 am

That's besides the fact that it is rather to inject motor oil in your arm than injecting Pfizer's venom.

On the chemed tracker there were a total of 10 cases in May and June (i.e. 10 total in 2 months). There's been 15 new cases already in July, less than 2 weeks into the month.

Still not nearly as much as there were in March/April, but the trend is worrying/something to keep an eye on, in light of what's happening in the UK/Israel.
