Let’s put things in context. We are not that far from flu season. In an average flu season in NJ there can be over 30,000 hospitalizations (including thousands of young people) and well over a thousand deaths. Covid in March greatly exceeded these numbers and had a somewhat larger proportion of the mortalities amount younger people than the flu. Right now that does not appear to be the case. A few Hatzalah calls is not a pandemic. Even a modest increase in infections and hospitalizations would not be a reason the go into panic mode.
