The two people I know of have not tested since the initial tests for plasma donation in April/May

As a slightly encouraging DP, my child had COVID before Pesach, and just tested for antibodies 2 weeks ago and still had, so at the very least not everyone loses them after 5-6 months. Here's hoping that's true for me as well, I was sick at the same time, tested for antibodies and donated plasma right after Pesach.....

I tested positive for antibodies back in May and I am going later today to re-test. Will post results when I get them

My friend received his quest antibody test results in 24 hours, he said if you sign up for MyQuest you get the results immediately when they’re ready instead of waiting for the urgent care to retrieve them and call you.

Why are you so antagonistic to his wondering? It makes sense. Think of it as a booster shot. Nobody said to rely on it.

It definitely makes sense, if it's true or not is another question. You're essentially telling your immune system that it's important to keep these antibodies around, just like a vaccine.

What makes you think I’m being antagonistic? I genuinely want to know where he’s heard such a thing.

I’m not so sure the immune system works exactly the way people think it does. Immunologists are always talking about how complicated it is.
