Not really. Two shuls that asked/required people without antibodies to wear masks had people wearing them briefly the first night of y”t. By the next day it was down to a handful.

CHEMED has rapids (and regular swabs and blood test antibody tests).

Don’t know if this is today as well, but I believe these were the saliva tests.

Went myinstadoc in same plaza as ShopRite Howell. Tested Sunday night got my (negative) results back today on their online portal. Not quick but convenient and no lines.

Supposed to be in 1-3 days and they said will have results by Friday the latest. They sent an email last night that lab collected specimen so I assume they'll email results too

My family tested yesterday, got confirmation overnight, half my family got results by 1030 this morning and the rest are still pending.

DP for those who think Kids are not contagious, a nephew in1st grade caught it from his rebbi and now a few family members seem to have caught from him.

According to John Hopkins University, “The percent positive is exactly what it sounds like: the percentage of all coronavirus tests performed that are actually positive, or: (positive tests)/(total tests) x 100%. The percent positive (sometimes called the “percent positive rate” or “positivity rate”) helps public health officials answer questions such as: What is the current level of SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirus) transmission in the community? Are we doing enough testing for the number of people who are getting infected?”

The percent positive will be high if the number of positive tests is too high, or if the number of total tests is too low. A higher percent positive suggests higher transmission and that there are likely more people with coronavirus in the community who haven’t been tested yet.

The percent positive is a critical measure because it gives us an indication of how widespread infection is in the area where the testing is occurring—and whether levels of testing are keeping up with levels of disease transmission.

“A high percent positive means that more testing should probably be done—and it suggests that it is not a good time to relax restrictions aimed at reducing coronavirus transmission. I have a 9 year old relative who tested positive after being exposed to another 9 y/o who’s family currently has it, and now this relative’s other 9 y/o friend (who he has been playing with since) just went for testing after developing symptoms.

The rest of the child’s family who have no antibodies but are being careful have not had any symptoms and tested negative several times since. They are even careful in the house.

One month old positive and in the hospital. Mother positive.
