I heard that although the local Lakewood hospitals are packed, almost none are from the frum community at this time.

So I’ve heard, but it’s a terrible time to be hospitalized nonetheless.

Last 4 days of cases reported by Hefkervelt: 46, 48, 62, and now today 68. Not looking good at all. I’d guess we’re back to just about where we were a few days before Rosh Hashana. R”l.

7 day average hit 55 when everything exploded pre sukkos. Current 7D is 42 but keeps climbing.

According to OCHD, there were 619 cases in Ocean County yesterday. That is by far the highest number recorded in a long time. They typically report in the 200s and 300s. Lakewood only accounted for 68 of those cases. Seems to me that there is an outbreak somewhere in OC, outside of Lakewood.

There most definitely is. The hospitals around Ocean Monmouth are pretty full

The big difference between then and now is now it's a slow climb. Last time it went from 7 day average below 20 up to 55 in a week and a half. Now it's been hovering in the 30s for around a month and we just broke into the 40s.
