Refuah shleimah. I hope you also check with the Bais Din known as your doctor, who is a יחיד מומחה whose opinion carries more weight than the DDF Sanhedrin.
DDF is the greatest collection of brains assembled since the Anshe Kneses Hagdolah

Okay, so a puzzling development. My wife, who had symptoms a day or two before me (but never lost her smell), took a test a day after me and it just came back - negative. I was sure she had covid as well.

Could it be that she is already over it, and that's why it's coming back negative? Or would the virus still be picked up in the days and weeks after having it?

Naturally, I think she should retest, and get an antibody test as well. Any other advice?
Besides for that nothing about covid makes sense, I can tell you from my own experience (and I've heard same from many other people) although I had a pretty rotten case of it Pesach time, and 3 of my children did as well, my wife did not catch it from us, and despite many additional possible exposures over the past 8-9 months, Bli Ayin Hara she has never gotten it (took a few antibody tests as well as covid tests). So, who knows?

Same with me. My children all had it, wife never. I had it in September I assume. Children all had it in March. It's a strange illness.

So in an effort to be “better safe than sorry”, I just got an antibody infusion at Kimball.

Cough got a drop worse today, but otherwise no change. I just finished the infusion minutes ago, so I can’t report on that yet.

Here's a brief TR of my venture today.

I believe anyone over 65 is eligible, or anyone over 18 with a BMI of 35 or more. I was told to bring a covid test result, as it would greatly expedite the process. I printed mine off CHEMED's patient portal and brought it along.

I went in through the emergency room. They took my info, gave me a bracelet, and brought me to the triage admission center to answer questions and have my vitals taken. Was then taken to an ER cubicle/room and given an information sheet with potential side effects.

The infusion started about 45 minutes after I got there. Process was completely painless, aside from the initial needle pinch. It ran for one hour, and then I needed to remain another hour to be monitored. I was hooked up to an EKG, pulse ox, and my blood pressure was taken automatically every 15 minutes. They took my temperature 3 or 4 times during the process.

Interestingly, a Bikur Cholim volunteer popped his head in in middle and offered to get me food. "A tradition soup, or something else?" I politely thanked him and told him that had just eaten supper and that I hoped to be out within an hour or two.

I was free to go home exactly an hour after the infusion stopped. They gave me a pulse ox and told me to monitor myself every 4 hours. They also said that being that it's officially a study, a doc will follow up with me after 12 hours, and again after 3 days.

I'll be happy to take any questions now, besides from CNN, because they're fake news.

Nice! RS! How'd you get it ("approved"?) so quickly?
I asked my Dr and he said no way - only over 65 years maybe gets approved...

Did you start feeling better at all once the transfusion started/ended? The effect is supposed to be nearly instantaneous.

I was feeling pretty good before, aside from a cough. But I am feeling great now, as can be deduced perhaps by my nocturnal posting...

According to an email from Dr. Fenster, there is another massive wave sweeping through Lakewood, mostly spreading by Simchos.

While the numbers and anecdotal evidence certainly support the fact that there is a significant uptick, I don't know if you would call it massive in relation to our previous ones (at least not yet and bez"h we never get there). Also, you had mentioned earlier about concerns about reinfection, and I asked and may have missed your answer, is he or any other doctors seeing actual widespread reinfection possibly due to mutations, or is it just a concern at this point?
