Was that from an account that was once verified?

Was your account frozen and then after providing ID reinstated.

I must have tried to do the same transaction too many times as they have now frozen this account.

If you contact them and explain they usually open the account. Remember they are starting to charge fees next month

yes so you have nothing to lose (unless they freeze your money) because this game is anyways almost up.

I'm new to venmo and was playing around too carelessly on it.
First I did a $493 charge about 2 weeks ago to my other gmail account to help meet a citi min spend. Also, I have just recently canceled this payment.
Last week, I made up a long email and was going through the payment process to test for another card. However, I expected another screen to allow me to choose which card to pay on (or add). It automatically charged $405. I immediately canceled that payment and it shows a credit. However, my card was still charged. Will they credit back my card? Just this weekend I had linked my bank account too.

I'd rather venmo credit back to my card. Is this going to happen?

you can choose which credit card to use in the manage card tab and pick a primary card to use. You will not see that option when you pay, unlike amazon which always prompts you to pick a card.

So I'm concerned about "cashing out" once I verify my bank account and venmo blocking/freezing my almost $900. The account is in my true name but I have nobody to trust to send the money to. Will they allow that money to sit in the account or refund that back to my credit card since both transactions were later canceled? You would think that they would never charge for a transaction that was canceled within 3 minutes.

I did contact them however I will not be able to provide ID for this account. Regarding the fees I am well aware of them and I'm trying to push as many transactions through as possible.
