Yea I read about that recently, haven't had a chance to check it out. Funny because citi comes up as a CA with NW buxx (I think it may be different for the others).

I think only works over phone. i wonder if this can cause problem. i.e. citi can notice you are paying from the same debit card that was loaded with your CC

I have done it several times, and how would citi know the name of the bank of the debit card which you are using to pay the bill?
And please lets not make a buxx master thread...

And you think they check that bank (assuming what your saying is true) against all the purchases made on the card ?
No way.
Citi is happy when you spend, and happy when you pay the bill (not as much ;)) they don't check if your funding buxx and paying off with it.

How did you do it? Did you call citi and ask to pay with debit card? Is there a fee?

Yup, say you want to make a payment by debit card.
No fee.

thank you! do we need to pay the 4.95 activation fee or is there a way around getting the buxx card?

ETA: can it also be loaded to BB?

I'm not aware of any way to get around the fee.

Yes, but not online only at WM.

ETA: I believe you can load BB via Debit online as well.
