I've had Jenny unfreeze but no Dan. I imagine the frozen Peyton email is completely automated whereas the unfreeze is from whomever is on support duty.

My account was frozen. I sent the information they requested and they gave me a credit limit of $1200.00 with a warning.

So, what's changing?
Until May 1st,
•   You can continue using Venmo the way you do now.
•   You can opt to switch to bank payments at any time by following a few simple steps. Click here to switch now.
Starting May 1st for you (and starting today for new users),
•   To continue using Venmo for free, you must switch to bank payments.
•   If you still want to use your credit card, you can set it as your funding source, but you will be charged 3% to cover credit card processing fees.
When you're signing up your friends, you should know that they can send their first $500 from their credit card for free.
Why the change?

This allowance resets on the first of every month, and applies to the amount your spend on all your credit cards in total, not just on an individual card.

If you would like to make payments totaling more than $2,000 each month, you may change your Funding Source to your bank account (read more about how to do that here), or transfer in money from your bank account to your Venmo balance (instructions can be found here). Payments funded by your Venmo balance are always free and unlimited!

All accounts after May1 will be charged a fee when a CC is used.

If they wouldnt be about to do that sooner or later I would suspect them of somthing fishy, that business didnt make any sense for me they should run free for such a long time. However, thank you, venmo! It was a great pleasure doing business with you, and for now: GOOD BEY: (in a few months we'll wake up to headlines in TechCrunch: "After A Extraordinary Successful Beginning, Start-Up Venmo Mysteriously Filled For Bankruptcy!" but we know the reason...)

Update: confirmed, it is not per month - it is $500 account for the life of the account.
