The email a while back said if you signed up before March 16th you could put $500 on credit card without any fees but that looks like its not working either.

I got an email yesterday that I have a $500 free sending limit. (On an account that I never sent money from).
Ill have try it out and see if they really aren't charging.

It's not monthly, it's a once per lifetime of account.

pinger.com is definitely your friend for getting unique cell numbers for opening a Venmo account. Of course it's only good for $500 now.
