Any ideas or concepts for a day date on July 4th in the Lakewood area? Im very concerned about possible "pritzus" on any type of "walking in the park" being that it is supposed to be in the mid 80s.

Turkey swamp park is a decent park about half hour from lakewood. They have a bunch of different walks and picnic areas (although those will probably be some  peoplet there) but its a big enough park where you can find a bench or table where you could also sit and talk.

I don't date anymore, but I was recently in a park (with my wife and kids) and I saw something I never saw before. There was a couple on a date, standard Lakewood look, but they were going fishing. I find this absolutely brilliant. Assuming the girl want totally flip out it would seem to be the perfect balance of a mild distraction so that it won't be too quiet but just enough to have a nice conversation. Just thought I share for all those that need something to do.

Has anyone ever been to Watermark in Asbury Park? If yes what time/day/season? How did you feel about the atmosphere? How do you think/know she felt?

That's pretty unique. Once went to a shooting range with a friend, saw a pretty yeshivish looking guy on a date there... My friend says to him, "interesting dating spot, then again if you don't like her you can always shoot her"...
