What are some alternatives to New Roc City type place? I heard it isn't that great (don't remember details but definitely heard complaints about noisiness) but the concept is good. (i.e. a place with arcades, pool, air hockey, bowling, stores, things to look at, possibly kosher food nearby - a place with variety).

p.s. Feel free to correct me if you think New Roc City is worth checking out.

I feel ur misinformed, if there's a party then it's noisy so call b4. But it's an amazing afternoon spot!

Not for evenings?

(side note: how common are afternoon dates? [besides for Sundays when I imagine it's really busy])

I like new roc city a lot better than d&b, 1st of all because there's more to do besides arcades (pool bowling go karts etc) 2nd d&b is always loud even if it's completely empty that's just the way the place is. 3rd I have been turned away from d&b bec the girl wasn't 21 (unless u go to long Island but that's a far drive)

personally was not a fan of the circle line date

+1

If your gonna do circle line, do an hour and half max, cause it gets really boring. There's only so long you can discuss scenery for.

Our favorite activity on dates was going to lounges and making other couples on dates feel awkward

+100

There's something about being a dating couple yet doing the date-busting. ;)
