We have ComEd. You need to change your service panel most likely.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

I already upgraded the panel.
But that doesn't change the amount of amps coming into the house. it's an old house, so it only has 100 amps coming in.
I need it upgraded to at least 150.
I'm asking if anyone has experience with this

What do you mean only 100 amps coming in.
How many amps is your main breaker?

IME, there's an inside panel with the individual breakers, and an outside panel with the main breaker. You need to upgrade the outside panel if you want more power coming to your inside panel. The wires coming in to your outside panel should be able to handle a lot more than 100 amps.

Not that way in IL. No breaker outside. Main breaker in service panel is what service you have. That is why I didn't understand the "100 amps coming into the house".
