Love how the sprint rep who activated told me its brand new never used. When logging in and displaying the device it says REFURBISHED.

Need advice, can someone give a honest opinion. Should I keep the refurbished, not used much phone for $60 or spend another $40 for a brand new?
is refurbished that bad?

You have a choice to renew contract, or pay full price which doesn't renew contract.

HI folks,

My first post here- so to start off I will say, great forum! Lots of good input on this thread and I look forward to exploring others as well.

My favorite basic phone for Sprint has been the LG Lotus LX600 (I never got the Elite..)
Good video playback speed, runs Opera Mini, qwerty, Really a great use of the screen if you get rid of the default Sprint navigation page.

The reason I found this site is that my last Lotus just snapped in half.

Time for a replacement,

I wanted to upgrade my sprint plan but they told me I have a'grandfather plan' and a smartphone wont work even if I add thier $15 data pkg.
Does anyone know y it wont work?
Also is there any smartphone or smartphone type (pixi?) phone what would work?
