Once you select Sprint and click on the phone it gives you the option to choose an upgrade with a lower price.
For the galaxy S3 sprint is giving me $99 Amazon is giving me $49
HTC One Sprint- $199 Amazon- $99
Note 2 Sprint- $299 Amazon $149
i was doing it from mobile..will try later from a machine

Thanks.
How about ordering my upgrade from Amazon Wireless which is often cheaper than Sprint?
i have an old free and clear plan with 2 lines and i cant do the upgrade with amazon..

here is the error i get:
Sprint indicates that your current account is incompatible with the type of purchase you selected. For example, you may have selected upgrading a line on an individual account, but your current account is a family account, or vice versa. Please empty your cart and select the purchase type on the phone detail page that fits your current account. Please note that Amazon currently does not support business accounts.

It seems to work on my Everything Messaging Share Plan. The question is which phone will return the biggest profit?

So I ordered the HTC One from Amazon as my upgrade on a non data plan, after I ordered the phone, Sprint changed my plan automatically to a more expensive data plan. I called Sprint and the rep told me he will change it back to my original non-data plan, but I should return the phone. My questions are...
1. Is it safe to keep the phone?
3. Will I be able to clear the ESN now?
2. Once I sell it will the buyer have any issues activating it?
Thanks.

I did not actively select a data plan, but it must have been selected as one of the only options. Either way I don't think I had the option to select my non data plan on this phone.

2 and 3 is basically 1 question.
Either ask sprint if you can hold the phone and decide if you will change your plan later.
If they say no prob which they should, then Huca and just ask to clear the esn from your account.

Technically u can have a different account call to see if the esn is ready to activate to ensure its clear.

Is the IBM Java JVM file that you need to install in order to run Opera Mini on the Centro available anywhere? I couldn't find it.

I am assuming the Centro apps are pretty much all dead also, but even if so, the larger screen, threaded text, and qwerty make it a nice improvement over the DLX. The negatives are no indication of an unchecked incoming text or voicemail once the screen turns off (on the DLX the light would flash, very useful, surprised the Centro's doesn't do this) and for some reason it won't display the hotmail website, which the DLX did with Opera.

Yes, you would get unlimited internet with that plan.  You can even tether it as a modem with the right software.
How about with the "partner plan 1000"?

With sprint you pay even though it's on hold.
With VZW its free.
The difference is, contract end date extends with VZW.
