the way it works is that in order to get a smartphone on you will need a premium data plan and that is what costs $10 more per month, so if you dont have to pay it means theres no need for for the plan to be premium.

If I'm not mistaken besides "premium data" costing more than regular date (anyway most data plans now are "premium data") there is a $10 fee for actually putting a smart phone on the plan. In your case a BB

I have data now. Will it cost more for bb data?
Thanx.
BB with sprint needs to be on the all data plan + the $10 monthly premium data.

Which plan do you have ... this that you have data - is it just a data package? Cuz I dont think it'll work with a BB

I have the free and clear plan with a non-smart phone.
I have the unlimited data package.  I can't tell how much it costs a month because I don't pay for it  ;D - its added as a 'free add on'

Would I need to upgrade to a bb data plan?

How does Palm Pixi compare to Centra?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

The Pixi runs WebOS and needs a new plan.
The Centro runs PalmOS and does not need a new plan.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Does the pixi only need a new plan from Free & Clear or also Sero?

I actually don't think the BB Bold will work. My brother tried activating on his SERO plan the BB 8330 and it didn't work.
