Watched one game (mlb) this year so far. No fans makes it seem like a practice game. At least have a soundtrack in the background.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

For the actual games they started playing a soundtrack from sonys playstation game think it's the show. Also Virtual fans that react to the gameplay

Watching sports at home is certainly safer than protesting in the streets out of sheer boredom.
But nothing is more dangerous than a trump rally

Interesting to see a disproportionate number of Patriots opting out of this season. Any hypotheses why?
Most of those players opting out have more than 1 ring plus they made millions

Given what's happened in Miami, Philly, and now apparently St. Louis, I'm thinking that the season is about a week away from imploding.

Ironically, the Marlins only have one loss. I imagine if we go another week, they'll probably still be the only 1-loss team in the majors :)

If a full contact sport like baseball has managed to play without any virus issues, a socially-distanced sport like football should have no problems at all.

Because the NFL really cares about the health of their players...

Maybe it is not the sport but the approach to it? We have the NHL and NBA going the bubble route. Lets see how that plays out.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

...and summer camps care about the health of their kids. I am sure money has nothing to do with it.

Curious to see how the NFL and deals with players who decide to drop out after the deadline.

I wonder if we'll be hearing about teams making unofficial Covid parties in July and August to make sure their players were cleared in September.

The St. Louis blues had 20 percent of their team catch corona and they said it had huge effects on their performance.

NFL season is gonna see some interesting twists as cases become more prevalent in cold-weather cities.

What an appropriate 2020 end to this year's baseball season:

The only thing that could have been more 2020 would be having the Rays win yesterday and then having to push off game 7 for 14 days!

In 1919 the Stanley Cup final was a best of 5 series, that went to 6 games. Game 6 was canceled hours before puck drop, the game never played. Montreal forfeited the Cup but Seattle refused to accept and the Cup was never awarded.

yea that would have been nuts.
I believe they would have given a sub par prize to both teams and end it there. It would have been a fitting prize symbolic of the pandemic
