I would like to buy a TV for my bedroom. It will need to be mounted on an arm bracket higher up. I measured approximately how far it would be from my bed. It will be about 12 feet from me.

Currently DD has a deal posted now: LG 42″ 1080p 120Hz LED Ultra-Slim LED HDTV, Normally $799.99, Now Just $499 Shipped From Amazon!

I don't know that much (read: nothing) about TVs nowadays. Its been a while. The only thing I know I will probably want to do it add a Xbox later on..

What size do I want/need to get?

Ideas please..  thx!

I would say 40"-46" for that viewing distance. 
42" will be just fine.
The $499 price is great for a 42" LED with 1080p and 120Hz.

From what I've read, it seems to need a good one. Some of them will droop to the right when extended.

Update: TV came today. Box had bad damage to the front of it. I called Amazon and had them send out a new one with free overnight shipping. I also had them give me a credit of $20 :)

Still need a bracket..

Yup, this is the dairy one. I have a separate one for meat in another room that didn't need the wall mount.
