Best part is there was no shtick I just called in and that is what I got! Tomorrow I am going to be picking up a car for the rest of Chanukah and as of now my estimated total is $120 (this is Xmas weekend!) I did reserve it a while ago tho.....

this summer I had reserved a economy in Phoenix Hertz (local) for 125 a week with usaa and a 25$ pc I ended up with a Mitsubishi convertible kept it for 8 days and got 50$ off complained (legitimately) when I returned it so I ended up paying 75$ for 8 days and they waved the extra day fee

Maybe that's why I got such lousy service at FLL, even as a Hertz PC -- didn't think to flip the guy a $20! I suppose that could work in a lot of situations...
