lax did priceline $15+ tax for a mid size for 1 day and got it from Hertz and when i went to counter they offered me a mustang or minivan. Took the mustang convertible and came with GPS. 

Just out of curiosity what rate would i have gotten if i kept for a few days? do they honor priceline or charge full retail?

Should say on your contact what an extra day would cost.  I've never used priceline,  but when you reserve directly from Hertz it is usually the same as you paid for the first day.
