Delta credit from covid

My daugher has a credit of 950 expiring the end of this year. This was due to covid.
We made a mistake of canceling the flight instead of having Delta canceling the flight.
I was hoping to use it for Israel this February but they have no flights.
Any idea how to extend this credit?

If her address on file is in Israel I have heard (second hand) that they will extend validity (assuming it wasn't extended already) due to the fact that they don't currently serve your city making it unusable
