I think you're looking for PSI not GPM

I believe (my opinion) that for a wooden deck you don't need anything massive, apply deck cleaner, power wash and then apply deck brightener rinse let it dry

Which would be what I'm looking for,
I have a huge deck, that's already stained, but the owner wants it to be stained a different color, so I need the machine to strip of all the old stain/paint so I could freshly stain it, it's a solid color stain, almost just like paint! So I need the pressure, idk if deck cleaner alone would strip of all that old stain/paint! And any machine with that much power is usually $600+ I want cheap!!! Any ideas?

They have one for $900 which is 3.5 gpm and 4000 psi

  Seems like you want a good deal, Vs a cheap pressure washer!

 When I hear cheap, I think of garbage.
  When something is cheap=Garbage/Rubbish.

Getting the old stain off is not an easy job. Be careful using a pressure washer with a high psi. You don't want to splinter the wood.
It is going to be a combination of pressure washer, deck stripper and sanding.

I use the one posted just above. Does a fine job on moss, cleaning brick, concrete, and stripping paint. Takes a bit longer than some of the more powerful gas engines, but it's great.

Anything would work. The psi/gpm will determine how close you have to get and how wide the spray will be.
