Anyone see any risk to this? Burning say 5mm points through it?
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

I'd assume the risk is in getting the points not in the spending, but got no dp.

Welcome back mate, with a bang!

You’d need all of that spent on legitimate purchases at a qualifying merchant...

WM qualifies. You think it is a risk?

Somewhat, especially if the transactions get coded/or flagged (by amount/frequency) as GC/MO purchases.

on the UR website it still says Valid until 04/30/21
only by the Select charities does it say Valid until 12/31/21
On my saphhire reserve it has dining etc until 4/30, Lyft until 9/30, and charities 12/31.

Can someone put things in perspective for me?
Is it better to pay myself back for phone charges on Ink (1.25%?) or to save the points for future air/hotel travel (?%)?

That all depends on the value you get using the points. The points are worth more than 1.25 to me.

Yes, nice to see you posting again.
How did you determine how much points are worth to know they are worth more?  I see a "0" days left for one purchase so I need to decide today if I should redeem it.

I collect around 3m points a year on various Chase Inks, and move them to my CSR. The reality is, that over time the value of points has dropped significantly, due to flexible points tables by the airlines. Yes, there still may be deals from time to time, but I find myself using the Chase travel portal at 1.5 cents a point more often now, even on business class fares. So I think this “Cash Back” option at 1.5 is decent enough, and I just cashed in 1m points for $15k. Actually, I think that post 9/30 we’re going to regret we didn’t take enough advantage of this program…

I only have the Sapphire Preferred (not Reserve) at 1.25 and the Inks. Is it still worth it for me or hold out for travel redemption or use this Pay Yourself Back program?

How'd you cash in $15k's worth? GCs in home improvement stores?

I use massive amount of points for Hyatt AI's so it is a no brainer for me.
